| Who Attends Safety Networking?
People working towards a safe, healthier working environment, like you, near you is our aim!
Those attending Safety Networking events are a mixed range of people from diverse industries but all of them work locally, and all work to improve Health, Safety, Fire, Environment or Quality in the workplace.
Some work within independent businesses and SMEs, while others are national safety managers and directors from larger, more corporate businesses. We endeavour to ensure that there is a great mix of people sharing their experience and knowledge and contacts, which makes for a successful event all round.
Everyone is eager to make contacts, and by nature, all are either potential employees or employers in one respect or another, so attending our events offers a time and cost effective means of finding opportunities to develop your career and earn CPD points, or perhaps to find the best service providers for particular requirements.
Both the public and private sectors are normally well represented, and we particularly welcome the following groups to join Safety Networking, to seek friendly, helpful and non-judgemental assistance from more experienced local safety practitioners.
- those studing safety professionally (NEBOSH, NVQ4, Diploma)
- professional voluntary sector/ charity organisations and
- smaller businesses that do not have internal safety resources or expertise
Members of industry specific specialist groups like Constructing Excellence, existing ROSPA affiliated safety groups and IOSH branches are all very welcome to attend.
If you are unsure about whether you should attend, please email us at enquiries@safetynetworking.co.uk and we'll be pleased to answer your questions.
A note to service providers
We strive to ensure that Safety Networking events are not "sales driven" environments, and we therefore restrict attendance and membership of service providers to our sponsor and host membership options, which are great value and highly effective and can help you to demonstrate your committment to local safety practitioners.
